New Acquisition

Picked up a H&K P30, .40 S&W V3 today.
Gun show up the road about 40 miles.
Snow's melting.
Looking forward to getting out back a bit later this afternoon.
Pics to follow a bit later.
I'm stoked.

Nice. I fired a P30 in 9mm quite a while back. Loved how it felt compared to the original USP. Unfortunately they tend to go fast around here, so I've been on the lookout for a SIG-Sauer P226 E2 in 9mm.

Enjoy it!

I have a P30L, it's a great 9mm, roughly the size of a government 1911.

Took the 4 wheeler out this afternoon down to the river.
Everything is still covered in several inches of snow.
Found a nice very high bank and set up a few targets (plastic bottles from high water I had missed during my clean up of the area this past summer).
Should have brought more than (2) 13 rd clips ...
Nice and smooth operation.
The V3 provides for SA/DA operation.
Monday will provide more opportunity if the weather holds.
Handgrip on this thing is very comfortable & the kit has two other sets of grips to experiment with to find the ideal feel.
I was set on a .40 caliber, looking for a Glock initially, and looked at Sigs & Tarus models among others.
None of them could come close to this model for quality, build, comfort or ease of operation.
