Shotgun Wall Mount

Difficult to find a wall mount for a shotgun that is safe with kids around but quickly accessible if needed without a key.

I just ordered one of these:

ShotLock Shotgun Vault :: ShotLock.com

Anyone else have one? I think it's a fairly new product. Will report back when installed.

I saw this advertised in the Personal & Home Defense 2011 Buyers Guide. Looks promising - I look forward to your review!!

I bought a shotgun rack like the one that police use in their cars. I'm sure a thief could get it out, but I bought it to keep it away from curious kids.

So I received the shotlock gunvault. Unfortunately, it does not fit any shotgun that has a ghost ring site, like my M2, so I had to return it. When I discovered the problem the company was completely cooperative and offered a full refund.

If you have an ordinary hunting-style shotgun (or any without a rear site), I'd highly recommend the product. It seems well made and the locking mechanism is quick, simple, and requires no batteries/power. It provides quick access as well as childproof/security.
