I don't have a problem with employees carrying guns (well, some of them), but I do have a big problem with the government telling me what I can and cannot do on my property.
Given that many gun owners are vocal about their rights in general, this bill seems a bit hypocritical to me.

The measure exempts a number of workplaces including nuclear power plants, prisons, schools and companies whose business involves homeland security.
If they are going to force employers to allow it, then they need to make the bill universal for everywhere. This proves the government does not trust its gun carrying citizens, and this bill was likely an attempt to appease gun activists.
