Depends.
  • New York: Illegal.
  • California: Must be unloaded without a magazine inserted.
  • Tennessee: Must have handgun carry permit.
  • Arizona: Must be 18 years old; no permit required. (You can also open carry loaded rifles in AZ)
  • Vermont: Must be 16 years old; no permit required.

McDonald can't come soon enough.

They are trying to completely ban open carry, effectly banning citizens of any means of carrying a firearm legally in CA, because they do not issue CCW unless you are Ben Afleck or someone famous.

Gotta love the Democrats, cuddle the criminals and take away law abiding citizens' right to bear arms.

^^ I can see the reasoning behind it too... if you take the rights of citizens to have firearms, government can then start to do whatever they want without fear of revolt / war. If no citizens have guns, the government can do whatever they want and nobody will be able to do anything about it.

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"
