Don't bother with the EoTech. My SCAR without optics is the best rifle in my arsenal. With the ACOG, it's unstoppable. The EoTech will stay on my FS2000.

Enjoy.

nice additions Chris... you mentioned zeroing in the Eo-Tech @ 200 : will the 5.56 w/77gr have about an inch of climb then @ 100? Just curious; was going over the ballistics of my AR

I use EO-Techs a lot so it's a natural for the SCAR. This gun is reportedly so accurate the EO-Tech won't do it justice, but I don't want any magnification. I'll save that for the REPR.

I think you have to hold about 1.5-2" low at 100m (using 62-grain). At 300m, you have to hold 10" high. The 200m zero (BZO groups are fired at 50m) is almost point-of-aim/point-of-impact from 0-200m. Past 200m, I'll move up to 7.62.

I just set it to burst fire and it keeps my ammo pretty full.
No familiar with SCAR firing options, is "burst" three shots or what?
I assume Burst is not available to civilians.

We were talking abou using the SCAR in a video game.

I am not sure what it does in real life.

The dilemma of asking Ben to post pictures of one of his collections are wanting to undoubtedly see something over the top vs. how much money it will end up costing me.

Beautiful pickup - great decision now that the ACR has finally been released to the public, and it's coming across like a real dog. Complete and total turn-off on what Bushmaster did to the thing. Once I get all my crap situated, I'm on the hunt for a .308 - hopefully the SCAR-H will be ready then!

Bro, hold back on the REPR. I've been reading some negative reports on this thing being ready for prime-time, and this info is not coming from the barfcom crowd either. Reports that magazines will not properly seat; charging handles reciprocating when they aren't supposed to; lugs being redesigned; etc. I'm glad I passed on the 20" variant I had on order.

2009 was the year to pull back from the cars a bit and start indulging in boom sticks. It's been fun.
