How many people actually think they could hit a moving target in the head (brain in this case) at 500+ yards with any sort of consistency?

No offense, but I seriously doubt it. Remember, body shots don't count. Have you ever tried shooting any kind of animal at that distance?

Yeah, I think that I could make that shot more often than not, depending on what rifle and glass I had, and based on the fact that those retarded zombies would be running toward you. You have to destroy the brain or the spinal cord to stop them. No electrical impulses means no mobility.

223 & 308 are very popular cartridges as Brett said.
Correct, which is why I chose my words very carefully.

that's right, going tomorrow with wifey for sporting clays. I'd rather point and shoot than rather carefully aim. It is hard to hit a moving coconut with a peanut sized bullet, let alone it may not destroy it. Even if only half your shot hits the head it will be gone for shure. All those automatics with tiny bullets will not do you any good.

To hell with shotguns or precision rifles, I'll take this.

An Ohio Rapid Fire semi-auto 1919A4. That or an Artillery Luger.
