This weekend I decided to try shooting a piece of Richlite material. Richlite is a bunch of paper bound together with phenolic resin, it is extremely dense and rather expensive. I tried out .223 55gr, 9mm 147gr +p+, .357mag 158gr, 45acp 230gr wwb, and 454 casull 260 gr winchester. The .357mag made less of an impact than the .45acp.

I shot books, model cars, playmobils and rubber spiders ... it wasn't really scientific.

My g/f's cousin is going to cosmotology school so we get all kinds of manakin heads after they are done with them, much more fun than paper targets

When it comes to shooting stuff, scientific experimentation rather comes into play.

 

I got the idea from Dr. T after he got his ACOG... was a cool pic, not to mention a nice scope
