Bulk .223 and .308

I want to get about 1000 rounds of .223 and 500 rounds of .308. Probably something in the 62gr. range for the .223. What do you guys recommend? I have been looking at Cabelas and Cheaper Than Dirt, but don't know what is the best value.

XM193C at Cabela's seems to be one of the better values now. It's backordered at the moment, but they seem to get it in pretty regularly.

Cabela's -- Bulk American Eagle® 5.56mm Tactical® Ammunition

Hoss, have you fired 55gr through the Sig 556? I have heard that it would be better suited to heavier rounds due to the 1 in 7 twist.

I haven't fired my Sig yet, but I intended to run some XM193C through it.

Sorry about my post above. In a rush, I missed the 62gr .223 specific.

What gun is it for?

For now, it is for the Sig. In the near future i'll be building a couple more AR's so i'll use it in those too.

Just remember if you order online that they won't ship to the City of Los Angeles.

LA County is OK, but City of LA is not, because apparently they have to jump through all sort of hoops to be able to do that, and most online dealers just say screw this. Luckily my office is in the Valley.

I am also outside of City of Los Angeles, so fortunately, I don't have that issue. Have you found any local places with good prices Andy?

I've been having a hell of a time finding more 77-grain MK 262s... I have a couple hundred rounds, but that's it.

Nope. And to be honest, most gun stores in LA are staffed by giant assholes. And CWS is like 5 million mies away.

I get my stuff online and sent to the Valley.
