This will hopefully change soon, but right now I own only a lowly .177 caliber pellet rifle. I've always heard it's round placement that counts though! I used to score 570 out of 600 with one of these back in high school.



Anyone else here have a carbon fiber barrel?

Those rifles are pure awesome. The local gun shop had two of them on a rack behind the counter. They are instantly recognizable and dwarf everything else. If you're interested in a big rifle, there's always the .416 Barrett, which is legal in CA and faster than the .50 BMG.

As of right now, a Remington 700 XCR in .375 H&H. However in 10 days, it will be a Barrett M99 in .416.
