I finally built up my very first M16.





LMT MRP upper with 10.5" barrel
PWS FSC550 flash suppressing compensator (man, this thing really works, absolutely no muzzle rise. Check out the vid below)
Aimpoint ML3 in a Larue mount
Troy Ind. flip up sights
Preproduction Magpul UBR stock
Elisco lower
Knights 2 stage full auto trigger :toxdance:

Thanks. I thought long and hard on what parts/components I really wanted. In the end, the whole rifle came out pretty great.

I'm also waiting for LMT to release their piston kit. Planning on getting the 12" barrel. One thing nice with the LMT MRP upper, just loosen 2 bolts, remove the barrel and replace it with a longer one. Takes around 5 minutes or less.

Ooh I love the contrast of the FDE parts on the black receiver. That is tits! I can't have most of those toys you stuck on there, color me jealous. Nice rifle.

Yep, its mine. The lower is actually an M16 made by Elisco. Elisco was licensed by Colt to manufacture M16s to Colt's specifications, so everything is within mil spec dimensions, or something like that

the reason that I asked is because M16's are military, and functionally different that the civilian derivative.

Do you have select fire on the lower?

I think the vid I posted will answer your question.
In Manila, we can have full auto firearms licensed, around $290 renewable every year.
