Nighthawk Customs

Need some fast feedback...what's the opinion on this bad boy?

H-PDP - Heinie PDP (Personal Defense Package) - Custom Guns - - Detail

Thinking about picking this up but I'd like to see wht you guys have to say about it. I've always wanted a nice 1911.

I've got a couple NHC Talons and they have been flawless.

Never seen a bad one from these guys. I'd take one over a Wilson or Brown any day.

I typically rant against custom shop guns if they're going to be functional tools, Nighthawk tends to be one of the exceptions.

Astute choice bro.

Fit and finish is great. Tight but not too tight (like new Les Baers tend to be). Ran the first 700+ rds through each without a cleaning.....no issues. I guess I have over 2500 through each by now. Still not a single hiccup.

Dick Heinie has a stellar rep for a reason...

Okay, now I should decide...5" or 4.25" suggestions?

For carry, 4.25". For the range or anything else, 5".

4.25 is for pussies...

I kid, I joke!

I'm a fan of 5", simply because the 1911 was meant to be that way...
And there is an example of 1911 snobbery!
