They are good if:

A. you have a small penis
B. Your bf has a small penis
C. Paranoid that smaller caliber rounds wont take down the zombies (yes they are coming)
D. You get .50cal and have a fascination with sending half inch rounds down range.
E. Like frequent jams with a bad design for frequent outings. (not intended for range use)

That said, I fall under C and D. I would like to have one just for fun to be honest but it would not be my first or even 10th choice.

For the record, I rented a .44 Desert Eagle about a year ago. It was fun but not worth buying when you can rent it.

I've held one. Unless you are looking for something to show off at the range or pose for a rap video, the gun is pretty pointless.

LMFAO @ Ryan and Josh!
I cannot rep you enough for those comments...

Truth!!!

The only thing that would make it better is if you get one gold plated.

HAHA Gold plated "Deagles"! lol, Thats gotta be one of the most over the top things next to the gold AKs out there. Bling bling ...g-dawg?!

*sigh* and here I am, a few months ago I decided not to buy my first firearm. Woulda been a sig P6 but I really can't justify it right now. Props to people that can drop some dough on gold superfluous zombie mamers.

sweet replies guys, made me LMAO!
so is there anything u would recommend, basically for target shooting at range, 5-6inch barrel and no bigger than .45 cal, as we have some rather odd laws here in OZ.
thanks peter

Well said Ryan and Josh, you too Brian. You guys are hilarious.

A 1911 in .38 super would be a fun plinker - or any 1911 for that matter. You could get a .22 conversion to make range trips more affordable.

They are fun if you're buying one as a toy. If you do get one, buy a .44 Mag. The .357 jams a lot and the .50 is obnoxious. .44 Mag in a Desert Eagle feels like a .45. Nice and smooth... They are very accurate, too. Like I said, if it's a toy, then fine. Otherwise, get a Glock 21 and lots of ammo to practice.

And a pre-ban magazine!

I have a Glock 21C and used to carry when I lived in Vegas. Great gun. Never jammed on me a single time through thousands of rounds at the range - reloads too!
