Nice choice Jamie; you can't go wrong with that Springfield. Btw Jamie, I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but you need to be careful on what items you purchase between Canada and the States (especially if you plan to be travelling back and forth). There are some really wacky rules that make no sense to me on what is legal here or there.

It will have to stay in Florida. I'd be days at the border trying to explain that to our kindly federales!

Damn! Those are really nice!

Edit: does it really only weigh 25 ounces?

I have not weighed them yet but they do carry very light.
The Ultra carry is probably a little more due to the CT grip.
It was probably 25oz with the factory grip.

You can never have too many 1911s! I wish it weren't such a hassle to buy handguns in this state or I'd have many more.

This is the Kimber I carry.

I carry one of these in .357 Sig.

Of course, my faves are my G21, G30 and G17.

Shot a bunch of guns today. Keep coming back to the G26 - familiarity and fit, I guess.

I hope to see the Kimber tomorrow.
