Appears someone pinged Wilcox about the HK rifles, and this is the response they received.

I haven't confirmed this personally, but I see no reason why this is a hoax...at least I hope not otherwise it's a cruel one indeed.

Currently we are building the 45 pistols. We have finished 400
pistol and working on another 3000. I do not think we will see anything on

Thanks for that... I'm pretty well set on getting an LWRC M6A2. Just waiting for my next TDY so my overseas $$ can pay for it!

 

Noooo...this is for your NEXT AR Btw, I've been giving a lot of consideration on picking up the M6A2 as well; I think it's a very wise choice for an piston-driven AR.

 

Believe me if the 416 (or better yet, 417) comes to civ market, I'll score one. I just hope it happens before Brother Obama becomes president...
