Jay Leno introduces SSC Ultimate Aero

 

I must say, the car looks a lot better then the prototype pics and first set of pictures. I am a bit more impressed now, doesn't look like that cheap plasticy kit car it once did, wheels changed the appearance a lot too!

 

Nice to see Jay thinks it lives up to the hype, but 600k is a hefty price tag for a car with no pedigree.

 

Next up is a 220 mph saloon?! Wow.

Great vid by Leno as usual, I've spent countless hours on his website.

Still think it looks too much like crossover between a Saleen S7 and a Diablo and the interior looks very crappy. But I must say that I've gotten more sympathy now for the machine and of course you cannot do anything other than admire and respect that one man was willing to make his vision reality.

 

power/speed/engineering wise its a hell of a car, but its still fugly.
