NOTE: The original video was displaying the incorrect tyre used on the P1. This is an impartial test and we wanted to be transparent and make sure this error was rectified, hence the new upload!
Our independent Track Test of the LaFerrari v P1 v 918 Spyder owned by Paul Bailey, filmed at Silverstone National circuit back to back on the same day. All cars had been serviced a week prior and had a full tank of fuel. Vbox Motorsport fitted RaceLogic timing gear to each car and BTCC driver Mat Jackson was behind the wheel. A BIG THANK YOU to Paul Bailey for making it happen! Our next stop.... Santa Pod for 1/4 mile tests.

P1 started early in the morning, than LaFerrari, than 918 in ideal conditions.

EVO test: same day, same Anglesey track, same driver JB:

1.12.10 Matt Munsons LaFerrari by EVO Jethro Bovington (on 3000k miles Pirelli Zero Corsa)
(is what people say: confirmed by owner, only four laps were attempted and the tyres had already been used on two track days previously)

Days later:

I'm not surprised the P1 was the fastest, but what did surprise me was that the 918 was faster than the LaFerrari.

Now I'd be interested in seeing a run at the ring and see the lap times for all three but same driver.

 

LaFerrari/918 Weissach Package - On average across all slow and fast tracks it's a draw, to me (on same tires).

 

 

 

The Part 2 video was absolutely awful. So much hype for the videos with a lot of let down.

 

 

I think this is all subjective. Just depends on the track or driver really. we have now seen three videos of these cars put against each other and all different results.
Soloman it claimed the 918 was the fastest, even beating a supersport, chris harris video different story and now this one. Personally the P1 in my mind is the fastest and better looking.
