Koenigsegg One:1
#47
I know that this news is a bit off topic BUT:
Andreas Petre - Sales Director Asia & Middle east confirms in an interview with Top Gear that there will come a successor to the Agera next year, it will be presented as usual at the Geneva show 2015 and the technology will be heavily based on the One:1 program.
And as usual it will be an evolution of the Agera and feuture most of the technology presented in the One:1. The body design will look slightly different, but it will be possible to trace its origin from the Koenigsegg Agera line of hypercars.
My own speculation is that apart from all of the technology developed in the One:1 the successor to the Agera will feuture even more groundbreaking technical solutions, like the free-valve technology and will comply with Euro 6-emissions. A more integrated advanced active chassis/aerodynamics. Feuture a complete redesign of the interior, new larger intrument cluster, larger info screen, new dash design, new rear/ main headlamp lamp clusters. Feuture advanced 2-staged airbags to comply with US legislation, this is probably the reason that Koenigsegg chose to sign an agreement with Manhattan Motorcars at this point. But all of this is just my own speculation.
