I wonder how long this lasts? I guess as long as they have customers, they will keep making em. I'm just shocked there are that many people out there that need to beat their chest. I sorta think the Bug owner is a different person than a LaFerrari owner or a P1 owner, etc. Maybe I'm wrong.

 

The ford produced variants aren't that many. Most are for an anniversary or a power upgrade. There are some that are just wheels and paint. Most I think are power differences

 

It's to get the last couple out the door to all the potential customers that are almost ready to buy but not quite certain. It also gives a bug owner the chance into an even more special version. If they have sold all the other ones, I'm pretty certain they will sell these as well. Plus it keeps the legacy of the brand alive.

Still not sure how new paint achieves all that though....

 

Thats what I was trying to say. No doubt, some will be paint and wheels, maybe with a new lip or spoiler, but for him to say all Mustangs and Corvettes only have special editions that consist of just new paint was completely wrong.
