EVO: 2013 Pagani Huayra Price Increase
Pagani Huayra now £1million
The Pagani Huayra hypercar has had a sizeable price rise, from £820,000 to over £1million, making it more than a McLaren P1
If you’ve been saving up to buy a Pagani Huayra, it’s going to take a bit longer than you expected. The 720bhp V12 supercar has just had its price increased to 989,500 plus local taxes, currently making it £1,029,430 here in the UK.
That’s approximately £210,000 more than the Huayra’s 2012 launch price, and lifts it above the £866,000 McLaren P1. The price is also before desirable extras like a bare carbonfibre body and the ‘track pack’ option are added. Pagani always said the launch price would increase once the first few Huayras had been sold, but the size of the increase has taken new customers by surprise.
Still, one million pounds is half a million less than Pagani charged for the very limited run Zonda 760RS. But then that car was hardly a bargain either.

Really not sure if the car is worth the price and interesting if this will apply to customers who will place an order as of now or to all who ordered a car.

Little cheeky pushing the price up by so much without any upgrades. Still, not like I could afford one anyways!
Could this possibly because they are trying to clear a huge backlog of orders?
And the timing of this hike isn't great with the tyre controversy happening at the moment.

of course they care, most of the customers are self made people, they know the value of the money.
They still pay it, but they care, for sure.
With the gap between the huayra and the specials zondas closing, i would prefer search a Cinque to buy it.

The price is rising because the value of the British pound is sinking like a stone. Welcome to government currency debasement. Productions costs in dollars, pounds, euros are increasing for everyone as governments dump cheap credit all over the world. Think of the currency you are pricing in as a meter stick, and I just changed the definition of a meter.

But for a customer this raises a question if the car is really worth a price. Yes, it is stunning and rather unique, but hardly something groundbreaking.
