Koenigsegg Joins Teamspeed

Over the years, Koenigsegg has been public about breaking records and unveiling new models, but not much else. The mystery that formed around Koenigsegg was not intentional. We realized this and decided it was time to start being more open so enthusiasts and fans could understand what motivates Koenigsegg as an organization and hear it from Christian. These insights help to better define the Koenigsegg brand. The DRIVE series was the first effort and they were a fantastic production team and outlet. The way they enabled Koenigsegg to be itself in the videos was paramount. There was no alternative agenda, just the showing portions of the inner workings at Koenigsegg.
Due to years of hard work and Koenigsegg keeping relatively quite, there is a lot to tell and we'll definitely be continuing our efforts in this area.

I guess Junus can go into more depth about the Drive cooperation since he was one of the main initiative takers behind that. We would love to do more of that kind of material, but as always we also need to find the time to do it.
You are quite spot on regarding your thoughts about us. Koenigsegg is a very dynamic company, and we are all about Passion, inventions, engineering, design and improving the car wherever and whenever possible. This is also the reason we do a lot in house, it just gives us greater freedom to do what we want to do without bothering with politics. Another reason for that is that we quite simply can do it better. Obviously, this would not work without Christian and a handful of extraordinary brilliant, passionate and very creative engineers.

Well guys I loved the DRIVE series. But almost a year ago to the day I asked this question on another site Pistonheads, "Have Koenigsegg missed a trick?"
My question was basically why has Koenigsegg failed to publicise their cars in the same manner that Pagani did to such great effect? If anyone is interested you can see the tread here:

Hi everyone,
My first post on teamspeed and what better way than to start with Koenigsegg.Let me take this opportunity to congratulate Mr.Koenigsegg & his team for the commendable work they have been doing.I was smitten by the charm and "down-to-earth" attitude of Mr.Christain Von koenigsegg,that I recently got to see in DRIVE episodes.The way he was explaining the technical aspects to layman like me were superb.
Apart from that,proud to be a member of teamspeed.I am a novice when it comes to the technical aspects,and I hope to learn as much as I can from this forum,after all learning is a never ending process.I am equally amazed and impressed by the knowledge of members like mattjs33 & others.They are the living encyclopedia of cars.
Looking forward to having a great experience.
