I was watching yesterday in youtube the documentary about the Veyron's construction and having already seen here the amazing Grand Sport Bernar Venet, i just wonder if they will produce another special version except the SuperVeyron which is planned for this year's Frankfurt motor show. I ask because what's the point of making so many versions of an already special car by all means (speed, design, uniqueness etc). I believe that the only 'appropriate' (if this is the correct word to describe it) version is the Super Sport. Back in 2005 when they made Veyron known to the buyers they had reported that the units would be limited to 300 units and we see that after 7 years they made 22 different versions.! There's 5 world record edition out of the 30 supersport. There's at least one off supersport that i know of finished in green CF, and some more one off comissioned that bugatti did not realeased any press info about. And some of the productions numbers that bugatti stated off these special editions were not reached.

 

About the 5 world record i knew it but i included in the 30 of them. Do you have any picture of the green CF Super Sport, sounds very special and beautiful.

 

Actually there are 40+ Supersports produced, if I remember correct the exact number is 46 units.

 

Exaclly. I think its 43. And there's more Hermes produced. At least 3. I dont have any pics of the green CF supersport because the owner does not allow, and i do not know him personnaly. Even bugatti could not show the car because the owner did not allowed. The inspiration came from the Bentley Hunandieres. The painted scheme is the same. Upper body green CF, lower body in chrome. I do not kow if it is real metal like the pur sang or if its chrome painted. But its, lets say, pure british style. Looks stunning!!
