Indian Design Supercar: DC Avanti
DC Avanti is the first Indian designed sports car. It was unveiled at Auto Expo Delhi 2012. It will initially go on sale with a mid-mounted, Ford-sourced, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 261 bhp. A V6 version with 394 bhp will go on sale at a later date. Both engines are linked to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Avanti weighs 1560 kg, and features extensive use of aluminium. Its makers, who are based in Pune, claim the base model will hit 62 mph in less than seven seconds. The car will be released somewhere around 2013. The manufacturer wants to build 200 cars a year at first, but plans to churn out up to 2000 cars a year longer term.
The DC Avanti is expected to be priced between INR 25 to 30 Lakhs.
First five pictures are clicked by me, and other pictures are from DC officially released pictures.

Can we make it against TS policy to not allow these 1 off supercars to be posted about? no one cars about them, no one will buy them and they always look like shitty knock off cars that already exist

Looks like Ray Charles drew an R8.
I see a Ford GT500 front grille, knockoff R8 headlights, 458 Spider humps, and a Honda Crosstour rear.
Any with those engine options, what's so "super" about this (kit)car?

Whilst I want to be kind to the OP (cause he does appear to be enthusiastic) this is no "supercar" and may not belong in this section.
Maybe TS needs a new category "Rip-offs" where this car and Samsung and others could belong to.
