Wasn't the company name ALWAYS Swedish Automobile NV but the MARQUE name always SPYKER? And now they're just changing the Corporate name to match the Marque?
I think that they were going to sell the "marque' last year to avoid a bankruptcy, but maybe that didn't go through and so the corp. sees some value in changing the corporate name to the marque one.
Or maybe I'm just talking out my ear. Total speculation on my part.
I didn't know they'd changed from Spyker to Swedish Auto to now change back to Spyker.
My theory makes more sense. To me. LOL

All this confusion started when Victor Muller started the process to take over Saab Automobile... The way I understand it, it goes like this:
Swedish Automobile (SWAN) is the parent company of Spyker Cars and the now bankrupt Saab Automobile. Now that the Saab adventure is over, the company will change it's name to Spyker.
Spyker Cars, the manufacturere of cars named Spyker, never actually changed it's name and has always been a separate legal entity.
