Geneva 2012: Pagani Shows Naked Carbon Huayra
God of Wind or God of Carbon Fiber?
At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Horacio Pagani was the center of attention with his then-new Pagani Huayra, the bespoke hypercar makers successor to the mighty Zonda. The car was revealed by auto enthusiasts and journalist throughout the world as the new hypercar "bench-mark", but leave it to Pagani not to rest on his laurels. This year Pagani is back in the lime-light with a visibly striking Carbon Edition, which is exactly what it sounds like - a fully visible unpainted carbon fiber bodied Huayra.
Pagani reports no further power enhancements as the car is yet to be delivered to customers, but it is a fitting tribute to Horacio Pagani’s history and expertise in the field of this lightweight composite material.
The twin-turbo Mercedes-AMG 60° V-12 engine will propel the carbon god-like auto from 0-60 mph in about 3.3 seconds and top out at 230mph. A lovely White Huayra is on display as well at this Years Geneva show just in just the carbon beauty gets lonely.
