Just read that monaco had the most expansive street in the whole world : 100 000€ / m²...
That explains a lot.
Incredible city with incredible cars. Lovely people there too.

I went as a kid in 2001, saw an abundance of 360 Modena/Maser 3200GT/911 Turbo/etc but none of the super/hypercars.

When's the best time of year to go to see the true greats of Monaco?

And are there special places to look for the really interesting stuff other than Casino Square or will just wandering around (seemed to work alright last time) suffice?

I think in june,july and august.
But if i was you, went there in may for the grand prix.

Top Marques, F1 GP and high season in July/August are usually the best dates for Monaco visit if the supercars sightseeing is the purpose.

Remember that now its deep low season there and the number of cars is really outstanding.

Seven times I was there I have seen almost everything except Pagani and K'egg.
