XJR-15 is finally home...

Comfortably Numb in an XJR-15 blog on Evo Community by steveo220

Had a nice first drive around local roads yesterday. Still a lot to learn about driving a car like this on the road, but one thing I have discovered is that it is an epic car to drive...really nothing like any other car on the road.

Awesome video. It looks very difficult at low speeds with that gearbox, but on the open roads, seems like a great experience. Would love to go in one of these some day.

It is not a car that likes to be driven slowly - the only way it really works is if you drive it pretty hard. It's quite unsettling through towns, as anything less than 30mph is uncomfortable.

My experience as well, under 30 mph is 1st gear only and you need to stay on the power otherwise it becomes quite grumpy.
