Saleen S7 TT at Sarasota Cars & Coffee

A Very Special Saleen

Our local Cars & Coffee has seen some very special supercars over the past few months. We started with a white Porsche Carrera GT, one of only 2 in the US. In December we got to witness a beautiful black Ferrari Enzo. But we rang in the new year with a very special Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. Special thanks to the owner for bringing it out and sharing it with everyone.

A quick background on the car: I was the last N/A car produced, but sent back to the factory for the twin turbos. From what I have gathered from another owner there was only 78 cars produced total, which includes 20 race spec S7R's and 20 factory built S7 Twin Turbos. Those numbers make the road cars roughly seven times rarer than a Ferrari Enzo! This is the second highest milage S7 on record with around 8,000 miles on the odometer.

The icing on the cake was a quick ride the owner gave me following Cars & Coffee. Upon idle you can feel the power of the car. The turbos dont spool like a Gallardo TT or an F40, but the power delivery is incredible. Spinning tires at 60mph on half throttle is nothing for this thing. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see her again soon.

Please enjoy the photos. The link to the entire album with the rest of the photos from C&C can be found here:

Thanks for sharing the pics and video! It's a shame that the S7 program failed to reach it's full potential....we need more American supercars.

Amazing car, sporting the right color as well. Funny that it is still at only 8k miles and still gets credit for having a 'lot' of miles.

One of my favorite cars a few years ago, still lovin it. Just wish that they made... Better rear lights. Its probably just me, but has anyone noticed how alot of low production car companies use like un integrated tail lights? I mean, it looks like they spent maybe 30 minutes on the tail lights. Like these ssc ultimate aero, htt plethora, spyker, mosler, etc. anyways, lovethis car, lucky that u got a ride!
