Non us citizens are allowed to import non us market cars for up to 1 year. I don't think they are allowed to sell them while they are in the country. So slord don't get your hopes up.

The plates look like Tennessee plates, i could be wrong though.
Or at least they could be any US state plates (squarish shape)

I could be completely off and I'm sure it isn't this easy otherwise we would have seen many more do this but.....What are the Canadian laws and restrictions? If they are less stringent wouldn't it be simpler to register in Canada, then drive across the border and keep it here for however long the time limit is, then head back ever now and then to rest the days counter?

From what I recall, all a car needs to do is pass a provincial inspection. But from what I've read in the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, some cars may be exempted if they aren't produced in high quantities. Thats why all the big car companies have to follow the regulations closely because so many people drive their cars.

Transport Canada also states that any car manufactured outside of North America cannot be imported into the country even if its altered to meet regulations. HOWEVER, if say, I were to go to Pagani and ask them to build me a one-off, they can build it from scratch while complying with all Canadian regulations and that would be perfectly road legal.

So yeah, its a bit confusing how all this works.....

I guess anything is possible with time and money. Not sure if they could alter the Zonda enough to allow it meet regulations.
