I remember reading that they produced (around) 13 Venturi 400 GT's.

Thanks, Dutchnick. I always thought these were wonderfully spectacular cars. Very underrated machines.

So true. I also like the fact that they're special in the way they were developed. The V6 in this baby is a PRV engine. So it was originally built as a V8 but due to the oil crisis they eliminated 2 cylinders. So... it's a V6 but with the same 90 degree angle in the cylinder banks as a V8.

And it produces 400HP! Holy smackaroni.

Yes, and at only 1080 Kilos, what a ride it must be. I always thought they had a very mellow, but exotic sound to them too:

Wow yeah I've never heard of this either. I'll put my flame suit on. Reminds me a lot of the F40 in a way.

Well, the Venturi 400 was aimed at the Porsche 911 back in the 90's. Then after they had been in production for awhile, the Venturi 400 GT and Venturi 400 Trophy Street Versions were aimed more at Ferrari and the F40 (but never even came close). They went Bankrupt back in the late 90's.
