A new life for the cash strapped super car maker
According to reports floating around the web this afternoon, Connecticut-based private equity firm North Street Capital is now the new owner of Spyker. Swedish Automobile had been negotiating to sell Spyker to a group funded by the Russian investor Vladimir Antonov, but those fell apart. The terms of the deal haven't been released by either Saab or North Street Capital but we'll update this as soon as we can.

I always liked Spyker. They were never the fastest or best built car you could get for the money but without a doubt they had the most presence. One of the best sounding engines of all time as well.
I'd love to see the company stay alive.
