Just a poll, with all of the technology in this beast, it should be interesting to see what this car will do.

Sport Auto did a Hockenheim lap of 1:08.7 min, GT2 RS was 1:08,4
but Nordschleife is more bumpy, which is an advantage for the Mp4-12c, so I guess 7:15 with a factory driver and 7:20 from Sportauto (HvS).

but only if the car has no suspension problemes or other stuff

I'm curious to see what both the MP4-12C & the Aventador will do.

Probably around 7:12 - 7:13 for the Mclaren and hopefully faster for the Lambo.

The time depends on who does the test. If McLaren does the test on their own it will be less than 7:20 for sure. If somebody else does an impartial test I guess between 7.25 and 7.30.

I'm with James May on this one, 'ring timing doesn't tell you how good/bad the car is.

Tell that to some Porsche guys, I know a few that live and die by it. Astonishing enough, the LFA-Nurburgring just ran a 7:14 and change, so it is highly possible the McLaren will be looking at this.

I completely agree with you, there is so much more than a 'ring time.

A few? I think most of them. If timing is all that matter, then I would want a customer car driven by driver other than Mclaren's.
