Pagani Huayra Debut in Southern California

Pagani Huayra Debut in Southern California

The Hyper-car manufacturer sets its sights on America

This past week at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California, the famed bespoke hyper-car designer Horacio Pagani unveiled his latest creation to a small group of media and perspective customers. Thanks to our friend Erick Vargas for being on the scene with camera in hand to capture the Pagani Huayra in all of its deep metallic red glory. The Huayra will be powered by a 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V12 twin-Turbo producing 700+ horsepower and 700+ lbs of torque. All of this is mated to a seven speed sequential gearbox and cost roughly $1.4 Million.

As reported earlier today it appears the new Pagani is facing US federalization issues which will either delay the sale of the first pagani to be officially used on our soil or possibly cancel the importation all together. We'll keep our eyes and ears open and report back on that as soon as we can but lets just say we have our fingers and toes crossed all will be worked out sooner then later.

Red looks good. Interior is stunning on this car, but it just doesn't hold up to a Zonda IMO.

That should be the attachment point of the racing belts.

I sat in this Huayra at the Geneva Motor Show, it has been so exciting!

Nice to see it in a colour other than different shades of pink.
