The development of the Koenigsegg Agera is continuing as we speak. Following the release of the Agera R, Agera X, Agera R Second Generation and the Agera R BLT, we have a new member in the line up of Agera models. You are currently looking at a new mysterious Koenigsegg Agera model, which seems to be a new one-off model ordered by a Chinese customer via Shanghai dealer FFF.

The picture was released via an Apple iPhone screenshot and shows a rendering of the black hypercar, which features carbon fiber wheels, a new front fascia with a more aggressive lower front splitter and a fixed roof with an air scoop made of carbon fiber. At the rear, you will see a new massive rear wing. The roof and the wing are linked by a horizontal surface similar to the Pagani Zonda 760 RS.

Early information suggests that this special edition Koenigsegg Agera will have an upgraded twinturbocharged 5.0 liter V8 engine producing 1,400hp.

From what I'm earing it will feature active aero also. This is just the beginning. Koenigsegg has alot of new goodies up their sleeves!

 

Much as I like Koenigsegg their current model policy does make any sense, rather than producing what appears to be an updated model with every new car that they built why not produce a number of cars so giving the customer continuity.

At the moment, if you bought one you could not be sure that the next car out of the factory would be an upgraded one which does nothing for customer satisfaction. If they carry on like this they will forever play second fiddle to Pagani
