I agree with you on covering the maintenance costs, but that's still a lot of dough to be dishing out. But, a car guy first? I hope you're kidding. These rappers don't know diddly-squat about the expensive cars they buy. I bet you anything, that if you asked about his Bugatti, his response would sound something like, "Dis dat Bugatti... Thousand horsepowa... Dis bitch cost me two million dollas!! Goddammmn, she hott though!!"

That's supposedly the average cost of maintenance, but I don't own one so I'm not speaking from experience.

well the tires are like $25k to replace ive read, but i doubt most owners go through that many tires a year.

id imagine close to $50k/yr just for insurance? maybe more, im guessing.

i could easily understand ownership cost being $100k year if the car gets driven.

Here's an article from The Wall Street Journal that discusses the yearly maintenance costs for a Veyron, and actually compares them to those of a private jet:

Does Owning a Bugatti Veyron Cost as Much as a Private Jet? - The Wealth Report - WSJ

Thankfully, I've heard that the company makes you agree to a statement or something saying you won't alter it in any way throughout ownership of the car.
