In all seriousness though, they seem to be extremely hard cars to drive quickly, wouldn't surprise me if they couldn't put the power down.
100% disagree. But what do I know.

What is your interpretation of the race?
It would also be nice to see Boxer's interpretation as you guys are the only ones who have driven the Segg.

I somewhat agree, but I don't think it would add seconds to the quarter mile time, that is a little excessive. The roads might be wavy or have bumps, but the cars should still be getting decent numbers, 12 seconds is just absurd.

Maybe not seconds but I'm sure it can add at least a whole second with street tires on dry pavement like this (it's 900+ rwhp to put to the ground after all), if you look at the trap speed it makes sense. Anyway, the race is what it is, no point in breaking down into the mathematics of it, the driver had the biggest role in winning.

+1. Could be a bogged launch, could be a misshift, could be the dude sneezed and farted at the same time when trying to grab second gear....

No way is the Ksegg going to lose that badly all other things being equal.

This is the only explanation that sounds realistic to me. I am sure the ZR1 can get a good launce with its launch control, maybe jump ahead of the ZR1 in the first 100ft. But after that the Segg will hook up and it is all power to weight. In which the CCX has 170hp more and about 500lbs less weight. Yet somehow the last 3/4 of the race they are even in acceleration. The CCX doesn't gain at all. That right there is proof of sandbagging.
