So I haven't posted for a while and I am usually a lurker here.
I am only going to put it in the most un-bias way as possible.
Having driven the GTR and a number of variety of Porsches, I truly believe that the GTR is a track monster. You point it to the apex and it will shoot out like a rocket ship. Turn in is very neutral and slip angle is very minimal. Because of this it enhance it's cornering speed.
The TT-S is rear engine bias, giving it a touch more over steer. This is effected especially when you trail brake into the corner and uses the rear end to rotate you around it. It is also a reason why it might corner a littler slower than the GTR. At the same time, having driven multiple Porsche with PCCB on a varieties of tracks, I strongly believe that, given the TT-S should be slightly lighter, there is no way the GTR can out brake the TT-S.
To my understanding, the regular GTR only comes with standard steelies other than the Spec-V. I understand that the 2011 GTR had upgraded slightly bigger rotors, but even then, PCCB offers phenomenal braking performance.
My conclusion is that, if the TT-S was driven by another driver who isn't a Japanese, maybe it will yield a different result.
Not to say that the GTR isn't a great car, it is, but I never really believe 100% of these best motoring videos out come. Just like AutoCar always say how british cars are always a notch better.

Turbo S finished third because he broke 2 times more than he should. You never really saw the GTR and it's braking points but watching the others drive he should have passed them all by lap 2. The SLS didn't hit one apex and the 911 late apexed a handful of times.
Would be cool to see this with Pro Drivers.
