while I agree that the engineering has a lot to do with it, it's MOSTLY God, and luck in this case

This car is definitely built like a F1 car. Carbon Monocoque, carbon fiber body. This helped tremendously at that speeds.

the 199mph is rarely the issue. It's the rate at which he reaches 0mph after the start of the crash.

Now to see how long he outlives the rage of Zonda lovers.

Sorry guys, where is the 320kph/199mph figure coming from? Reading the original article he reports driving "just over 100kph", which is obviously complete BS looking at the car but where'd we get 199mph from?

Ah... Seems a bit accurate, but we can safety assume 160+.

I trust the italian police's estimate. Best part is had he blown by the cops at that speed in that car, he would have gotten an thumbs up
