Me too. I'm going conservative with the black and carbon. After seeing those GT2 RS's in black, I just kinda liked the combo. And the options on the MP have a ton of carbon that is close. Just not the hood, but that is fine with me. I'm still messing with what to do inside.

I also went with a lot of carbon. The carbon options are quite steep. At the moment my spec is sitting at $590k with our taxes.

Did you see the spec with the cameras? You have built in cameras for the cabin view, front splitter view etc. You can download the video footage via Wi-Fi on your computer Pretty neat for track days.

Nope, didn't spend much time. Need to look harder and better.

What's $590k there to our money? Our base price is $229k US.

The option list is quite comprehensive. Had me occupied for an hour!
It's 590k USD. We unfortunately pay a little over double with any car in comparison with the US thanks to our stupid car taxes. FWIW, I don't really live in Switzerland - I just put a random location for the lurkers on the forum from my country.

To elaborate on that.

One day, my one dealer asked me if I know this particular person. Which clearly didn't ring any bells, but apparently this guy was ranting on about all my recent automotive purchases and knew what I have under my roof.

A bit creepy IMO.

Another time I had a note left on my windscreen asking "Is that you Mike?" with their contact details.

So hence my random choices of locations, at least it might put any new lurkers off.

EDIT: Sorry for the thread jack, back on topic!

Questions for JCC2TX and Mike S please.

When did you join the list and/or put your deposits down?

I first expressed an interest in Sept 2009 and placed my deposit in July 2010 after my visit to MTC.

I ask this as I still don't have a build slot for my UK car.

You feedback would be most useful and thanks in anticipation.
