Supercars that hold their value.

Supercars that hold their value.
I'm just wondering what you guys think are supercars that hold their value.
I was prompted when I read the 700k Veyron thread. omg!
That's really shocking.
The 2000's big three supercars, a decade later:
I think the Enzo will remain solid:
Asking 825k euros on jameslist, with 8000 miles.
Lowest price on there.
CGT's seem to have come up slightly in value over the past year, they are all running above 300k these days?
Bend, OR. 340k ^
SLR McLaren has gotten really soft...
This '06 only has a few more than 1000 miles on it.
225k ^^^
Also, things such as Lambo's, Veyron, etc. seem to decrease in value.
Is it just supply and demand?

Price is almost always determined by two things.
-Desirability and
-Scarcity.
The more desirable and scarce cars will command higher prices.
To be honest i think they made too many Veyrons.
The Zonda Cinque on the other hand....

only collector cars will appreciate in value. so the question is, which supercar are collector.
i don't think Veyron is one of them. it is not a pretty car but more of a technological marvel. collector car really have to be more than an engineering experiment.
McLaren F1 is definitely a collector. It is not only rare, it is raw and simple.

But no, I agree with you. (especially about the boats!)
Kind OT, but I've also known people who will place an order for a really desirable car, then re-sell it to the dealer or a private party upon delivery without even getting it titled.
I saw that with one of the first CGT's in the U.S., and the guy who did that made BANK.
Plus he got to drive it a few hundred miles.
Foolproof plan?
