LOVE that! Congrats on making an awesome different choice! So jealous.

Eh? Do you determine how much 'super' a car is by how expensive the turn signal click sound is or how soft the hand brake surround cloth feels? The super-est of the supercars from the past 40 years have had the exact same recipe as this one. And the Gallardo is not a supercar - it's what all those 30K millionaires drive nowadays to impress. (No offense to anyone - doesn't apply to TSers)

^ Well said Jox. An F40 is a supercar and no one can deny that, and it doesnt even have an interior as good as this Rossion. Judging a cars supercar credentials by the quality of its interior is the last thing I would do.

Rossion is great bang for your buck. Unbelievable performance, good looks, and pretty good fit and finish. But comparing its fit and finish to a Ferrari or Lambo is like comparing a Viper's fit and finish to an Aston Martin. IMO it's in a different class. Definitely a step up from the Noble, but it's still no Gallardo or 430 or 458.
From Wikipedia.

Supercar is a term used most often to describe an ultra-high-end "exotic" automobile, whose performance is superior to that of its contemporaries. It has been defined specifically as "a very expensive, fast or powerful car".[1] Stated in more general terms: "it must be very fast, with sporting handling to match," "it should be sleek and eye-catching" and its price should be "one in a rarefied atmosphere of its own".[2] However, the proper application of the term is subjective and disputed, especially among enthusiasts. So-called vehicles are typically out of the ordinary and are marketed by automakers to be perceived by the public as unusual. The supercar can take many forms including limited production specials from an "elite" automaker, standard looking cars made by mainstream companies that hide massive power and performance, as well as models that appeal to "hardcore enthusiasts" from "manufacturers on the fringe of the car industry."[3]

--You are right that its price is not "one in a rarefied atmosphere of its own" however, neither is a 430 or Gallardo. Further to that the Rossion is much more rare and generally a better sports car than either one. Besides, the description of the Supercar forum specifically mentions Rossion so it gets Supercar status from the Team.

I don't know what the official definition of "supercar" is, but I do know when I go a Cars and Coffee there are 100+ cars there, probably 50 of them like to use that label.

There might be a 800HP Cobra or a twin turbo Ford GT that can beat me in a straight line but there is no car out of the 100 that can provide the entire package of, accelerate, turn, and stop like the Rossion and do it in style.

I had people drive my car that own Scuderias, Gallardos, Ford GTs and Murcielagos, that can't believe how the car performs.

There might be 40 Ferraris at a Cars and Coffee. There is only one Rossion.

It is certainly a GREATcar.
