The results in the second run make sense to me. The GTR gets in front for a bit and the Veyron easily catches up with its top end until it lets off.

First run is just weird

To me, it looks like the Veyron driver was afraid of the weather conditions, in both runs. sensible
(Btw: The Veyron can do these runs all day long, while the GTR ... )

Veyron tyres really suck in wet weather, this could also be the reason. Also what I have heard from friends in Moscow that Veyron's ESP worked in first video and driver braked few times, even in second video gerabox was in auto mode. So, this video really means nothing.
