Two questions: who the hell is John Hennessey, and what the hell is a Hennessey Venom GT? It'll be our pleasure to answer them over the next few pages, and Joe Windsor-Williams' mighty studio images won't hurt either. You're looking at one of the most exciting performance cars of the decade. It hasn't turned a wheel yet, nor even started its engine, but we'll be following its development closely as it goes from stage to stage. Those stages will involve a good deal of rapid progress, because the Venom will be one of the fastest cars ever. Hardly surprising, given that it will have, in its fullest state of tune, 1,000bhp - and will only weigh 1,100kg.
