Zonda test drive goes wrong, £300,000 insurance claim

I wonder why they didnt write this off. Even after its repaired, should put abit of a dent in its resale value.

BBC News - Test drive crash results in £300,000 insurance claim

Man, someone's got to be awfully pissed at Aviva. Wonder what his rates are going to jump up to?

With the scarcity of these kinds of vehicles, they are often repaired. Despite the amount of damage that has been incurred. They don't make them in mass quantities like your Ferrari's or Lamborghini's. You can't just walk into Pagani and ask them to build another C12 S for you, just won't happen.

That's why they tried to repair that McLaren F1 that caught fire in the States a few months ago despite McLaren themselves only giving the car a 50/50 chance to be repaired.

This McLaren F1 in Australia was repaired, despite how severely it was damaged.

That was also the largest claim for a vehicle in Australia's history.

I guess also its more then just taking it to your local panel beater. Im sure that they just replace everything that looks or could possibly be bad. More replacing then repairing.

What a tragedy... Like Mike said, they'll most defintiely try to fix it. This owner will probably get some upgraded from the F model as well.
