It is - well not to a CGT frame, but it is a stretched Exige Body.

I've been thinking the same thing since I've seen the countless threads of out of state customers $crewed. Plus, I wonder what makes him think this will be anymore successful than the Saleen S7 which was a car that beat the best around the world in GT racing and still underachieved. Big #'s don't do it anymore. Just my .02
