"The Nürburgring Nordschleife record holder GUMPERT apollo has officially landed in the USA. Evolution MotorSports is proud to announce its partnership with Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH as the official assembly, distribution, performance validation and warranty center for the GUMPERT apollo. www.GUMPERT-racing.com We have completed the final assembly and updating of our demo apollo. We are testing a new hot weather / track cooling package for the USA cars. Our Demo car is Roland Gumpert’s personal car serial #001 and we am honored to have it. This car has all of the latest updates with larger charge coolers, larger oil coolers, larger water coolers, rear bonnet NACA ducts for the added transmission cooler, 4-corner suspension lift and many other added features.
Marc Fritzsche and Jorge from Gumpert GmbH were at EVOMS for the past 3 weeks working with our technicians on the final assembly and updating of our demo car. We spent some time on the track last week testing the suspension as well as giving the car a final shake down. We collected some valuable data with the help of our friend and pro driver Mike Speck from Bondurant. Mike is a phenomenal driver and provides us accurate data that matches the data from the logging equipment in the car. His feedback helped us to fine tune the suspension settings, dial in the traction control system and test the efficiency of the updated cooling system.
We will be taking the apollo on a tour throughout the USA and Canada to get this supercar the exposure that it deserves here in the USA. This is the one true limited production, hand built supercars in the world that was designed for hardcore Racing which comes equipped with AC, Stereo, and License Plates. The production process is the one part of the manufacturing philosophy in which exclusivity and precision are paramount to speed. GUMPERT associates the term 'manufacture' with its commitment to achieving quality and luxury by means of craftsmanship and hand-made production. They combine the advantages of traditional craftsmanship with the quality-enhancing benefits of state-of-the-art production procedures. Each and every apollo is an automotive masterpiece with its very own personal character that has been produced exclusively for the customer in line with his or her personal wishes.
