Another one of these super-kit-cars. I guess anyone can throw a Ford/Chevy/MB engine on a chassis, put on some breaks, wheels, suspension and a retarded looking body on it and slap a $750k price tag on. I'd rather a Scuderia or CGT, where the R&D is done by a billion dollar plus racing program.

So would you classify the Spyker C8, Pagani Zonda or Koenigsegg CCX as a glorified kit car then? All of these are bespoke chassis' with engines from other companies in them.

What about Maseratis or the Alfa 8C? By your definition, it would seem that another manufacturer using Ferrari's 4.3/4.7 L V8 would just be another kit car manufacturer as well.

While many such cars exist, the Apollo is far from what you have described above. Do a Google search on the car, you will be amazed. It may be ugly, but it is the real deal in every sense of the word.
