LBJ fans, google the word "narcissist" and you will see LBJ's personality described perfectly. That is where the hate for LBJ comes from. No one likes a self centered superstar...... His actions on the court suggest he is the ultimate team player. His words suggest otherwise.

If you read my posts I agreed with you guys on many things including the perception that he is arrogant. I agree that he may be. Now, I ask you this. Knowing the enormous pressure that he had however self induced, and the weight of all the hatred, the insults and such thrown his way don't you think that he handled himself well?

 

If you all want to keep talking about another man's words and actions. make a LeBron thread.

 

Not worth the keystrokes

I think everyone's good until next season. He won, he handled himself pretty well, he played hard, he finished well, he silenced a lot of the doubters. He's still what he is, and I think a few people probably gained a bit more respect for him. 1 down, 4 or 5 more to go.

 

I've been out for the last week, so no commentary. Congrats to the Heat - they earned it.

 

Having enjoyed his grand failure last year, I have to admit that he has grown and my dislike is less. The whole series was great basketball on both teams. They both would of crushed my Lakers. I hope they can pull together one more good year before one of the greats, Kobe, has to retire.
Props to the whole Heat team.
I am flying home from the Bahamas right now, and this morning all the locals were talking about the game and hungover from partying last night. Most of them are Heat fans. When my son wore a Laker jersey it stirred a lot of emotion from the locals. It was all in fun.
