The Miami Heat is on!!

Hi again,
I know I do this to you guys every game/year - but... I have the time in Miami at 1915 and the start time as 2000. Is that right? Forty five minutes until show time?
Cheers,
Nik

You're probably right that he's an ass but then again.... Just enjoy the game and don't let the hatred get to you too much. You're going to get old quick. Enjoy being young dude

Who says I'm young? And I just think it's funny that you guys (and others - see U of FL, etc.) get SO crazy about your team. It's an honest criticism that LeBron, et al have made asses of themselves with their big reveal party, boasts of multiple titles, etc. with ZERO to show for it (so far). It's also honest of me to acknowledge LeBron's skills. I laugh whenever I find clever memes and stuff that goof on LeBron. I'm a Kobe fan, so I take plenty of stick, too.
At least we're not talking about the Dallas Cowboys. UGH.

What's with all these new guys not understanding sports banter? They think we're sitting in our rooms fuming all day about some stupid basketball team?
The Heat have one key to success here. Bust their asses for 2 quarters, and hope it's enough (as it barely was in game 2) to overcome their inevitable meltdown in the second half, particularly the 4th quarter.
I'm still hoping the Heat lose, no matter what. But if they somehow pull it out, I'll take LeBron's advice and wake up the next day like normal and go back to my life...
For the record, people hate him because he acts like an entitled baby. He tries WAY too hard to be loved like the superstars of the past, but he doesn't realize they got that way by earning it, not by scheduling a press conference or event and forcing it down people's throat. He'll put up huge numbers all day (well, 75% of the day) because he's an athletic freak, and may very well get that elusive ring. But until he grows up he'll do very little to earn the general public's respect.

Btw I totally agree with you guys on the stupid press/fan spectacle that they produced. For a moment though hear me out. As I had mentioned before. The owner of the heat admitted that it came off in the wrong way and he took full responsibility. He also explained that they did the exact same type of show for shaq when he came here. The only difference was that there weren't any cameras around for shaq but that he essentially said the same things about winning multiple titles. Was it wrong? I see and

Feel the same way you guys feel. Why? Primarily because I'm a humble person who never boasts. So I do get it.
As far as him personally, on the one hand he hasn't shot himself, battered his girlfriend, run any one over on south beach. Hasn't cheated etc etc. is he a nice guy? No he is not. Some friends of mine worked on his house and don't have great things to say about his humanity.
But the guy can play ball!

Hi,
I am completely confused about who you're supporting.
