I'm no Chicago fan, but as a guy who's had my ACL replaced, I really hope that Rose can recover. He was becoming one of my favorite players in the NBA. Looks and plays like a hardass, but comes across as really smooth and almost humble. Without that injury, we'd be having a Rose/Durant discussion right now.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but the Bulls were #1 in our conference during regular season. Heat - Bulls playoff games would have been, intense. haha

Rose/Durant conversation? Not too sure the injury is what stopped that from happening. remember last year bulls had best record in the east and lost to heat in ecf. I seem to remember Lebron being put on Rose at the end of games in that series and completely shutting him down. I hope Rose makes a full recovery but I think he also needs a legit Number 2 option before they are championship material.

 

A healthy bulls team with or without rose handed it to Miami 3 out of 4... The lose of rose and Noah in 1st round is why we didn't see a bulls vs heat finals. Forget the big 3 and starting 5 of Chicago, they are the deepest team in the NBA and showed every game vs heat how they are not terribly difficult to beat if you have a good bench. Heat play with 6-7 players and OKc plays with almost there entire roster. You say rose needs a #2 I say Miami needs a 6-7-8 to really become an elite multi championship team.

 

I maintain that the Bulls would have done it this year. Sadly, it's all speculation.
