The U.S. Open Championship Thread
So, not long now until the U.S. Open Championship.
This year to be played at The Olympic Club, San Francisco.
What's everyone's predictions?
Anybody planning to attend?
Will Rory run away with it like he did last year?
Looking forward to it.

Rory's game has been a little off lately. I think Tiger's win yesterday at Memorial will help his confidence a ton. His chip in at 16 showed us that the old Tiger is still there. He also plays well on west coast courses. It will be a great open for sure!

I'm not a fan of Rory but hopefully he'll put the work in over the next two weeks and get his A game back.
Great finish to the Memorial last night, nice to see Tiger looking deadly again.
Anyone having a bet?
Really not sure who to back for this one, might have to wait and see who makes it into the weekend before laying down any £££.

What a beautiful course, playing very, very tough today.
Lots of high scores, especially from the top 3 so far.
Tiger played some great golf this morning.
Nice to see the amateurs holding their own too.

tiger looks pretty determined. i hope he has a solid second round to put him in contention for the weekend. lefty and bubba are hurting. i wonder if either will make the cut. rory might be done also. this is not the kind of course that where you can go nuts and make all kinds of birdies.

I'm definitely enjoying the unpredictability of this course, it's nice to see the pro's being punished for poor shots.
Donald, Westwood & Mcllroy I fear have got caught up in almost attempting to play each-other, which is great when you're all shooting low but today I feel like they've dragged each-other down.
Looking forward to watching Tiger tomorrow.
